About the course
Course description
This is a great golf course for any ability. It will punish poor strokes but flatter if you are playing well. Interesting features include a lake to the right-hand side of the 1st and 9th holes to catch any wayward drives, and changes in elevation and ditches to make you think about your club selection. The 9th and 18th hole shares a large double green overlooked by the clubhouse. The 6th hole is considered to be the most challenging, while the signature hole is the beautiful 16th. The course is ideal for mid to high handicap golfers. Cray Valley is an enjoyable golf course to suit all golfers and is the only full course at Orpington. There are also two 9 hole courses at Orpington, Ruxley Park and The Short Course.
