These Terms of Service apply to LondonGolfCourses.com and its related pages, forms and services (together, the Site). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Site

London Golf Courses is an independent directory and discovery service for golf courses, driving ranges, golf simulators and golf coaches in and around London. The Site provides directory information, visitor reviews, links to third-party booking and contact services, and limited tools for venue representatives and coaches to suggest or update factual information.

Unless a page expressly states otherwise, London Golf Courses does not operate venues, employ coaches, manage third-party availability or accept bookings, deposits or green fees on a venue’s or coach’s behalf.

2. Directory information and third-party services

We aim to make directory information useful and current, but details such as facilities, fees, opening hours, access rules, coaching availability, qualifications, lesson formats, transport information, course conditions and booking availability can change. You must check material information directly with the relevant venue, coach or booking provider before relying on it or making a purchase, booking or journey.

Links to booking sites, venue sites, maps, coaches, email addresses and telephone numbers are provided for convenience. They lead to third-party services outside our control. A link is not an endorsement, guarantee or confirmation of availability, quality, qualifications, insurance, suitability, pricing or safety. Your dealings with a venue, coach or other third party are between you and that party.

3. Visitor golf-day recommendations

Where London Golf Courses offers a visitor golf-day recommendation, the service is research and practical planning only. We may identify options that appear to fit the information supplied and may check availability through official booking systems or, where appropriate, by contacting a venue. We do not make, pay for or hold tee-time bookings, and an availability check is not a reservation or guarantee that a tee time, price or course condition will remain available.

Any paid recommendation service will show its specific price, response time, scope, cancellation information and checkout terms before payment. A request is not a confirmed paid order unless the applicable live checkout confirms payment. Any booking must be made directly with the relevant venue using the instructions or link supplied.

4. Reviews and ratings

The Site may allow reviews and ratings of courses, ranges, simulators and coaches. We manually moderate submitted reviews before publication, but moderation is not a guarantee that every published statement is complete, accurate or suitable for your circumstances. Reviews are the views of the author, not of London Golf Courses.

By submitting a review, you confirm that it is based on your genuine first-hand experience and that you have the right to submit its content. You must not submit content that is false, misleading, unlawful, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, sexually explicit, commercially confidential, invasive of privacy, infringing of another person’s rights, or intended to manipulate ratings or harm a competitor. Do not include another person’s personal information unless you have a lawful right to do so.

You keep ownership of your review, but grant London Golf Courses a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, display, format, excerpt and distribute the review on and in connection with the Site, its directory listings and reasonable promotion of the Site. This licence continues while the review is published and for a reasonable period needed to operate backups, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. We may accept, decline, edit for formatting or legal/compliance reasons, remove, or respond to a review at our discretion. We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review or a particular rating.

5. Coach and venue information, claims and applications

Venue representatives and coaches may use the Site’s forms to suggest a correction, claim a coach profile, apply for a new coach listing or submit profile information. A submission is not a promise of publication, ownership, verification, ranking or promotion. We may ask for evidence, contact an official address or venue, and approve, decline, amend, suspend or remove information at our discretion.

A Claimed by coach label means that a claim was approved through our directory process. It does not mean that we endorse, certify, insure, employ, supervise or guarantee that coach, their services, credentials, availability or conduct. Coaches and venue representatives are responsible for ensuring submitted information, photographs, links and statements are accurate, authorised, up to date and lawful. By submitting them, you give us permission to review, store and display them as part of the relevant listing.

6. Coach dashboard and secure access links

Access to the private coach dashboard is available only to coaches or authorised representatives connected to an approved claimed profile. We use time-limited, single-use email links rather than passwords. You must keep access to the relevant email account secure and tell us promptly if you believe an access link or dashboard access has been used without permission. We may suspend or withdraw access where reasonably necessary to protect the Site, users or the directory.

7. Featured Coach advertising

London Golf Courses may offer clearly labelled Featured or Advertisement placements to eligible coaches. Paid placement buys visibility only. It does not determine whether a coach is included in the directory, whether a profile is claimed or verified, the content of visitor reviews, or the ordinary editorial information shown about the coach.

Advertising availability is limited and may depend on the coach’s approved locations, selected package, campaign dates and available inventory. Campaign requests are subject to review and confirmation. Any applicable payment, cancellation, renewal and refund terms will be shown before payment. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, we do not guarantee traffic, impressions, clicks, enquiries, bookings, revenue, rankings or commercial results.

Where campaign reporting is offered, it is based on the first-party measurement method described in our Privacy Policy. It is intended as a reasonable performance report, not an independently audited traffic guarantee. We may pause, remove or refuse an advertising campaign where it breaches these Terms, is misleading, conflicts with a venue relationship, exceeds inventory, is unlawful, or creates a material risk to Site users or operations.

8. Acceptable use

You must use the Site lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you must not attempt to bypass security, submit automated or spam content, interfere with the Site, scrape or reproduce substantial parts of the directory without permission, impersonate another person or organisation, submit misleading listing claims, misuse access links, introduce malicious code, or use the Site to harass, discriminate against or defame others.

9. Intellectual property

The Site’s design, compilation, text, database structure, logos and other original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial discovery and decision-making. You may not copy, republish, sell, systematically extract or create a competing directory from substantial portions of the Site without our prior written permission. Third-party names, logos, images and content belong to their respective owners.

10. Availability and liability

We provide the Site on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, complete or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to the preceding sentence, London Golf Courses is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, loss arising from a third-party booking or service, or loss arising from reliance on directory details, reviews or third-party content. You remain responsible for checking suitability, travel arrangements, health and safety, insurance, club rules and all booking terms directly with the relevant provider.

11. Changes, complaints and contact

We may update these Terms when the Site or legal requirements change. The version posted here applies from its stated last-updated date. 12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer law gives you rights in another jurisdiction.
