About the course
Course description
Founded in 1911, the part 71 course was designed by Fred Hawtree and James Braid. Situated in gently rolling countryside just 2 miles from central Croydon, Croham Hurst is a delightful parkland course with densely wooded areas. Built on chalk the course drains well, offering the opportunity of all year round golf.
The course rewards accurate driving and the undulating greens provide an interesting challenge to golfers of all standards. After opening with two long uphill par 4 holes players will need to ensure a good front nine score before tackling the more testing back nine holes.
