About the course
Course description
Founded over 100 years ago as a 9-hole course, the current 18 holes were opened in 1923 having been designed by the legendary James Braid. With a good mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s the course at Grim's Dyke Golf Club offers a stern, yet enjoyable, test of golf. With tight, tree-lined fairways and greens guarded by bunkers and ditches it requires straight, true hitting to achieve a good score. The course signature hole is the Par 4, 12th, which requires clever course and club management as well as contending with four hazards before reaching the green.
