Course Description
The 18 hole is a par 70 parkland course with many distinguishing features. The course is set up to provide a fair test of golf but still maintains a challenge for the advanced player. In the summer months the mature parkland surroundings and superb views over London provide excellent scenery. Throughout the winter months the course offers a reliable golfing experience as the drainage is second to none meaning the fairways stay dry and players very rarely have to resort to temporary greens. Opened in 1975, the course is built on chalk providing excellent drainage allowing it to stay open even during the wettest weather. The parkland layout is beautiful walking country but with challenging holes where an errant drive can easily end up on the wrong fairway.
