Course Description
This 6473 yard par 71 course, with its mature woodland and meandering brook, will test the skill of even the most accomplished player. Undulating fairways and sweeping doglegs create the feeling of both a parkland and links course.

2020-08-03 Overall Rating 30/50 I played in the late afternoon with a couple members I know. The summer conditions made for an enjoyable round. The course was slightly dry and we played pick and place fairways given the condition. Greens were better though and had been well looked after. Having played regularly next door at Haste Hill during my youth, I have always wondered what was the other side of the fence. It’s a great layout with some interesting holes. Practice facilities include a net and putting green, with lessons taking place on an area near 10th hole did leave spotting your ball difficult in the fairway covered by the pro’s balls sprawled all over it. I paid £20 for twilight round, however expect to pay between £30-50 as a visitor so still decent value for money. The facilities are sufficient for the course with 2 loops of 9 enabling you to call in to the clubhouse 1/2 way round. A very enjoyable round and can’t believe I had never played this course. Small friendly club that I will have to visit again. Pictures associated with this review can be found on Instagram here. |
